Showing surprising form the All Stars although being on the defen- sive most of the game. neverthe- less gave the University boy; a merry battle of it {he first half. But after Saints’ scored their sec- ond try early in the second half the game turned into a olle-sided bat- tle; S.D.U. gradually getting their fast backfield functioning went over for five additional tries before ref- eree Jim McCallum blew the final blast on his whistle that completed the encounter.

The game was only tell minutes nld when Saints’ scored the open- ing try of the encounter: in the of- fensive from the start the Univer- city boys carried and kicked to within ten yards of the All -Stars' line.
