Little Blue Heron -'1 in Indian River on Apr. 12 (TC).

canada Goose — in Indian River 66 returned on Mar. 5 and the sky was black with them on Mar. 23 (TC). '

Mallard - 1 pr. in Indian River on Apr. 16 (TC).

Gadwall - 1 pr. in Indian River on June 2 (TC).

American Wigeon - 1 pr. + 2 m in Indian River on June 2 (TC).

Greater scaup - 30 at Rustico Island on Apr. 23 (AD,LD).

Harleguin Duck - 1 pr. off Cape Tryon on June 8 (GGH).

Oldsguaw - 3 seen from Borden ferry on Apr. 29 (NBC).

Black Scoter - seen from Borden ferry 175 on Apr. 26 and 7'on Apr. 29 (WEC). White-winged scoter - 8 seen from Borden ferry on Apr. 29 (WEC).

Common Merganser - 1 pr. in Indian River on Apr. 16 (TC).

Red—breasted Merganser - 6 seen from Borden ferry on Apr. 29 (WEC).

Osprey - 1 pr. seen daily fishing in the Montague River in late April (RR,GS); 1 pr. nesting in Indian River by June 2 (TC).

Northern Harrier - 1 m in Commercial Cross and 1 m in Brooklyn on May 6, 1 m in Milltown Cross on May 11 (WEC).

Sharp—shinned Hawk -‘1 in Indian Biverqin late April (TC); 1 at U.P.E.I. on May 2 pursuing and capturing a House Sparrow (GGH, JM); 1 being chased by a robin and a pr. of starlings in Springvale on June 12 (GGH).

American Kestrel - 1 in Brooklyn on Apr. 26, May 4 and 8, June 1 (WEC); 1 in Heatherdale on May 5 (WEC); 1 in Vblleyfield on June 1 (WEC); 1 at sea Cow Head on June 9 (GEE; JWQ WEC).

Merlin - 1 near U.P.E.I. on Apr. 18 (AD); 1 in Mbntague area several times during April flflh GS).

Rufifed Grouse - 1 pr. in Indian River in late April (TC); 1 in Kilmuir on Apr. 24 and khy 9, and 1 in Hazelbrook on Apr. 26 (WEC).

Greater Yellowlegs - 1 in Darnley on June 16 (WEC, J , ng PUJ). Iceland Gull - 50 seen from Borden ferry on Apr. 26 and 30 there on Apr. 29 (WEC). Gaspian Tern - 1 at Rustico Island on May 28 (PF).

Common Tern - first seen on Hillsborough Bridge on May 1 (JDM).
