Her home was her castle. and many pleasant eve- nings were spent therein by friends and neighbors, as she was I'Pl')' fond of music and enjoyed singing The Old Hymns with her trir-nds, At an early age she af- filiated herself with the Presbyt- erian ('hurch in the community and was a regular worshipper un- less prevented by illness.

A few weeks previous to her passing she suffered a stroke but by her courage and will power she was able after a while to sit tip in her chair. The last week himever. she was confined to her tied gradually growing weaker un- til on the above date she ended her earthly sojourn and entered into her eternal home to be with her father whom she served and loved during her long life During her Illness she was lovingly cared for by her son and his devoted wife. viho did everything possible to al- leviate her suffering and make her comfortable.
