Mickey takes part in one of the wildest, and funniest, fight scenes ever filmed, plays football, cricket and a couple of Eton games called "fives" and the “field game" rulns a steeplecilase, and wears a top hat. The latter is Just one part of the unique outfit worn by him as a stu- dent at England's exclusive Eton. The story is about Mickey, an American boy and the star of his high school football team. He wants to go to Notre Dame, but winds up at Eton mstead when his widowed mother marries an Englishman. Hilarious Difficulty .. Resolved w hate his new sur- roundings, he gets into one hilarious difficulty after another, including an almost constant conflict with his new stepbrother, played expertly by Freddie Bartholomew. But when he suspects that Freddie is in a Jam, Mickey talus the blame and is “sacked" out of school. This probably wouldn't have wonied him so much cxoept that it means he must miss the big steeplechase run in which he has been planning to prove his American superiority ‘in the Einglish boys. . At the last moment he learns that Freddie is really innocent — he had been suspected of "borrowing" the housemasisi-‘s car and smashing it lip-and goes to work to clear him- sclf.
