A.. has never been home since he went to Boston to reside twenti- seven years ago and Pat, (P. 3.), made hid iirst trip in the U. "B. A. last week to visit his long absent brother. and they had a happy ra- union according to P. 12., who is home again.

What almost proved a disas- trous lire here on Saturday alter- noon. May aid, was brought under control by the prompt action oi two young men. H. B. mslwen and P; R. sinnobt. Not in the best oi health for some time, he resided alone except on week- ends when his brother Francis came home irom Mount Stewart. since the death oi his mother a number oi years ago. Two sisters reside here. Mrs. Grover Coiiin and Mrs. Patrick Murphy. and another sister has been living in the states ior iiity years and a brother Bill is living in the West. John B. McAdam will long be re- membered as one oi the iinest or line men and a slave to work and it is all the more sad to think he should be called so sudden with a heart attack.
