After leavinr Charlotte- town forty-cight years ago. he went to Halifax, where he worked for a few months on the Herald and later became mechanical superintendent of the Chronicle on which paper he served for thirty years. The late Mr. Warren was born in Thomaston, Maine, and was a vet- erah of the Boxer‘ Rebellion and the Spanish American war, The pallbearers were Mayor Earle Mac- Donald, Herbert Jewell, Lemuel Webster, James Patterson, Neil Robinson and William Storey. In- terment took place in the Peo- ples Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, also a sister in the United States.
