The general purpose class had only tvio entries in the class for mare or gelding three years old or over. Fulton Willis of Milton came out on top Gordon Dorcherty Clyde River came second.

Mr. J. M. Maccallum of Ottawa. who judged both the bloods and the heavy horses had high praise for the quality of horses seen in the show. If he had any disappoint- ment it was because of the small number of exhibitors. In making reference to Preston Bryenwns foal, "Miss Joyce Falconwood" be said, "It was the nicest foal I have seen in some time and added ”it is fit for any company in any show."
