ea 36 million investment was approved for AVC and some areas that are to be expanded are the class rooms, aqua stud- ies and the holding areas for sick animals.

MAPUS ehas been busy selling Easter eggs for Easter seals and have

*Kimberly MacDonald, a third year student, won a scholar- ship at the American Association of Swine Veterinarians conference in Des Moines, Iowa for her research and presentation

*nine students attended the Student AVMA meeting in Tennessee and Island Vets con-

tinued on March 27'8 with six more episodes to come

*the Society of Atlantic Veterinary Students elections

NURSING

*there was a Nursing pub crawl on Friday which was very successful

*the nursing society elections will be held on April 5th ethere was a nursing society meeting on March 15th and the main topic of discussion was the pub crawl and the nursing society elections

SCIENCE the Biology Honours Defenses were held on

BUSINESS

ethere was a recent luncheon that was very successful and the guest speaker was Mr. Kevin Murphy

ethe Business society also held a pub crawl on Friday and have elections coming up

RESIDENCE

Marion Hall Day was held which included a basket ball game between the upper class and the first year students of Marion Hall

*Marion Hall went curling on the 21st of April
