N pursuanc‘c of an Act of the General Assembly of this Island. made and passed in the 27th your of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intitulcd “ An Act to consolidate and amend the several Laws im- posing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the. cncotlragcmcnt of Education ;” and. also. of an Act made and passed in the 'I‘hirtieth your of the same reign, intitulctl ~‘ An Act to amend the Act relating to Land ASSessnient :"

I do hereby publicly noiiiy the owners or occupiers of land in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon hy the said recitcd Acts or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two-

cncc, lawful money of this Island for «way hundred acres of wilderness or unimproved lnnds contained in the scvcrul Townships and the Islands belonging there- to; and the sum of six shillings and cight-pcnco of'like money for every hundred acres ofcultivzited or improv- cd lands in the. said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid ; and at the ruin of nine shillings and two—pence of like money per hundrcd acres for wilderness or unim— prnvcd Town Lots and Posture Lots in the Town and Royalty of l’rinccttm‘n; und at the rate of {six shillings and eight-pence. of like money per hundred acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Posture Lots in the Town and Royalty of l’rincctown as aforesaid; and at the rats oi" two shilling.v and six-pt-nco of like money for mob and crcry Lot in Clmrlottctown. formerly oc- cupicd as the.
