IN pursuance of an Act ofthe General Assembly of this

Island, made and passed in the Twenty-fourth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. intituled “An Act relating to the Land Assessment at present imposed by law on the Town and Royalty of Prince- town," and also of an Act made and passed in the Twenty-seventh year of the same reign, intituled “ An Act to consolidate and amend the several Laws imposing an Assesment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the enCOuragement of Education.” I do hereby give public notice, that I have made proclamation. according to the terms of the said Act. of all the undermentioned Town Lots, Water Lots. Common Lots, Pasture Lots, Islands. or parts of Islands. Townships, or parts of Townships. in this Island, in arrcar for the non-payment of the seVeral sums due and owing thereon teller Majesty. under and by virtue of the above mentioned Acts, VIZ :—

And the owners of the aforesaid Lots. parts of Lots. and tracts of Land so in arrear, and proclaimed as aforesaid, are hereby notified that, in case the sums charged on them as aforesaid. together with the costs which have been incurred, shall not be paid before the next EASTER TERM of the Supreme Court, which will commence on Tuesday. the Fourth day of May next, application will he made to the Supreme Court. during the said term, for Judgment against the said Lots 01‘ tracts of Land respectively.

of Judicature. at the suit of Stephen Swahey and Isaac Roberts Eckhart against Joseph McVarish and Monta- gue Coffin. I have taken and seized as the property of the said Joseph McVarish. All the Right. Title and Freehold interest of the said Joseph McVarish. in and to one hundred acres of Land. a. little more or less, with the buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging. viz: hounded on the West by land owned by Donald McVarish. on the South by land owned by Thomas Hickey, on the East by land owned by James McDonald. and on the North by land owned and occupied by Jas. Welsh. situated on Township number thirty-nine. in King’s County. and I do hereby give Public Notice that I will. on Thursday. the twenty-filth day of March next. A. D. 1869. at one o'clock. p. m.. at the Court House, in Georgetown. in the said County. set up and sell. at public Auction. the said property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being for the sum of one hundred and three pounds sixteen shil- lings and eight-pence, debt and costs, with interest on one hundred pounds from the twenty-first day of Sep- tember, 1866. till paid. besides Sheriff’s fees and all incidental expenses.
