Thd regular monthly meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Benevolent lriab society was held in the. Whelan Hail, Sunday eve- ning at it o'clock.
The meeting was presided over by the president. Mrs. Joeeph Costello and was attended by a large number of members.

Following the business meeting a social hour was enjoyed. the tea hostesses being Mrs. Ambrose Smith and Mrs. James McAleer.
ANGLO RUSTICO SCHOOL CONCERT
The pupils of Anglo Rustioo held their Christmas Ocncerrt in the school on December 20. 'l'he school was decorated with pine boughs and 9, large Christmas tree occupied one corner. The chairman. Mr. Paige Nunn. very eapably acted as chair- man. He commend d the teacher and pupils on their fine teoncert. After the program Santa. Claus made his appearance and presented the teacher, Miss Jean Carr and the pupils with many Sm-I. MYS- Noel Hooper. on behalf of the In- stitute. gave a. treat to the children.
