We are reliably informed that s Prince Edward Island farmer last week picked up a snowball in his yard nad presented it to a visitor. The explanation appears to be that the snow had been un- der a pile of straw which had preserved it well past the middle of August. We realize that this has not been a hot summer and our views are now confirmed by the fact that snow came throuzh iii. season in apparently good condition.

QUEBEC FARM CREDIT
