On Tuesday. September 9, the regular monthly meeting of the Emerald Women's Institute was held at the home of Mrs. EQIIlQ MiwCarville, with eight members present. Meeting opened by repggf- in: Club Women's Creed in unison. Following the roll cell, which w" responded to by u pickling recpc, the minutes were read and approv- ed. Money was contributed by the members towards the purchase of Mobile Kitchens for the 1".W.S.L Reports were received from the school and rick committees and new committees were appointed. Following this, the members dis- cussed tho making of s quilt for the Red Cross.
