NUT PUDDING

One-half cup brown sugar, l4, teaspoon soda, 1 cup milk, l tea- spoon butter, 4 teaspoons cornstarch 1 cup chopped nut meats, 1/, cup whipping cream.

Melt sugar over a. low fire with a. very little milk. Dissolve soda in 1 teellwon warm water and stir into sugar. Add milk and butter and bring to the boiling point.
