The Count de Oaix. a. prominent member of the French delegation, who is greatly interested in Acadian history. will remain in Prince Ed- ward Island for a few days, and will visit the Acadian centres in order to become acquainted with them and their condition. This distinguished personage is head of the France Amerique organization, which has for its object the maintenance Ol good relations between Canada, the United States, and France. From here he will visit the other Maritime Provinces. and loin the ship on the return trip from New York.

The presence of a large number of visitors in Charlottetown will add greatly to the occasion. It. is" under- stood that many have indicated their intention of taking advantage of the special railway excursion rates from the mainland. Others will doubtless cross by motor car, and excursions are also beinB arranged by the railway from points through- out the Province.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., A118. 17-— Jpmeg Cagney, identified by Police Detective Ray Kunz as "CB-Kiley- the motion picture actor." was named in letters seized from lo- cally arrested Communist sympa- thizers here today as allegedly hav- ing given the radical movement financial support.

Kunz said the letters. purportedly written by Ella Winter of Carmel to Caroline Decker, local Commun- ist official, will be introduced as evidence in a forthcoming criminal syndicalism trial.

The letters were disclosed as part of the documents seized by the Sacramento police when they raid- ed local Communist headquarters.

On the strength of these docu- ments and evidence gained from several witnesses District Attorney Neil McAlllster asked and obtained a county grand jury indictment against 17 alleged Communists, charging each of them on six counts of criminal syndlcalism.

It weighed 210 pounds more than Zane Grey's record catch of a fey years ago and beat the present world's record held by L. Mitchell Henry, English sportsman, by 105 pounds.
