He was a mem-.‘ r of the committee of Stew-i ards of Park Royal U n i t e (1“ Church and an ardent member of the Church AOTS Men's club.; His fatal illness struck early‘ in March and following a period of hospitalization in Halifax he? returned home only to be con- fined to hospital here. . During his illness he was vi-; sited by his pastor. Rev. Henryi Tye, also by Rev. Isaac Walls and Rev. Joiin Ball. all of whomr brought comfort and solace both‘ to the sick and his dear ones. Mr. MacKinnon was twice married. His first wife. Clara Masters predeceased him in: 1942. Surviving are his widow.i the former Dorothy Weatherbie, a son George om the firs marriage and two daughters. Sandra and Jean from the cond marriage. Also two grand- sons Richard and Jeffrey in Hamilton. Surviving brothers and sis- ters are Everett. Hamilton. Ont.
