l STAMPS CLUB — A War Savings ‘lStlillip Club was formed by the , itiiClls-l‘ and pupils of Morell School, , ior the piirowse of selling war cav- i lugs stamps to aid i.ii wiuiiing this ‘war. Our first meeting was held October first to organize and elect officers. The officers elected were‘. l-ionorary President. Mr. A. A. (lilinoie, President, Michael Dale, Vice-President, Evelyn Geldert, Secretary, Joseph McInnis, Tree-s- urer, Bernadine Kelly. A committee iron appointed to choose A name for the club and “Help Smash Hitler" was chosen. Three grourm wore then appointed for selling stamps, with four persons in each group. At each meeting, tho captains of the selling teams give their report-S of the number of stamps sold each week. Up to the plvsltgtt time thir- ty-nine stamps have been sold. A meeting is held each week, in or- der to have the reports of the ac- tivities of the different groups dur- ing the week. After each meeting a committee presents ii program for the amusement of the mem- bers. It is hoped other schools throughout the province will follow
