Research workers, but not the public, have known for years that the vapor of onions and garlic has the power to kill harmful organ- isms present in the blood and In S0ro throat, infected gums, skin ulcers and other infections. Onion vapor is particularly effective in killing the tiny animals or insects causing ringworm, athlete's foot and fungus skin diseases, killing them within three minutes.

In “Science," E. F. Kohman re- ports that chewing raw onion from 1 to 8 minutes usually killed all organisms in the mouth.
