Answer—I think the error prevalent is that aleohol cures the disease, whereas the disease runs its physiological course irrespec- tive of the alcohol. A.—Yes, { think so; I think that, taking it as « whole, there is a great deal of injury done to health by the habitual use of wines in their various kinds and alcohol in its various shapes, even in so-called moderate quantities. (),—Does that remark apply to both sexes? A.— Yes, and to people who are not in the 48t intemperate.
