j ; / After the Xmas and New Vear holilays are passed everything re-

lapses into quiet again, even trade becomes at a standstilll However we iust ot forget that lots of purchases which were contemplated du- ring this holiday and busy season could not be accomplished owing to the very bad condition of our winter ronds. Now in accordance with the old saying ‘‘It is never too late to do good’’ We wish to say to our customers in particular and the public in general : that we will expect them to come and fuifll their wishes. :

We do not boast, but we can show you as good an assortment of geueral merchandise as you will find in any country store in Prince County. Not only can we show the goods, but we can sell them at rices which will suit both the purchaser and ourselves.

We will begin Stock taking this season on the 2nd. day of Janwary, and during this Stock taking time which will last about three weeks, we will have an immense lot of Summer and Fall goods which we want to clear out at a sacrifice. These goods will be shown by themselves and are bound to be sold irrespective of price.

It is not necessary here to innumerate the different lines of goods we carry, but suffice it to say : that we always carry a full line of geue- ral merchan‘dise found in our best stores of P. E. Island.

As usual we will be glad to take in exchange for our goods
