Finally, your reference to my ‘‘P.S.’’ as ‘‘tacky, immature, and uncalled for’’ seems to call to mind the ‘‘Bimbo Brigade”’ posters that were hung throughout the Soc/Anth Lounge last April and also the repeated showing of the aforementioned film this year. It also appears to me to reflect the overwhelming emotional state you seem to be in. Do you feel threatened?

As for my cliches, I apologize for using them as they seemed to have clouded your understanding of my letter. However, I well decide which talents I can do without. Thanks for the advice, but I will pass.

Last year’s ‘‘scandal’’ was not dug up -- it was never resolved. That is why my letter of October 8, 1992 was directed to President Eliot and the administration at UPEI, not you or the Soc/Anth Club and do not apologize for resurfacing those events. Yousee, ‘‘I’’ don’t publicly usually attack people that Ido not know.

Just out of curiosity, I would just like to know which is the correct reason for the ‘‘postponement’’ of the film. Was it because it was ‘‘broken’’ or because it was a ‘‘pirated’’ version?

Just a quick response to Ms. Morrison (X-Press 22 October). Regarding your comment concerning the Constituency group: I think its areally nice idea, one that’s long overdue on campus. What I have problems with is the assertion that since men did not show up, that we as men don’t care -- wrong! I want to make this campus as safe as any woman ever does. A lot of students have very busy schedules right now, with essays, etc. If I had been free, I would have been there.

The other point I’d like to address is the issue of ‘‘leadership.”’ Since Ms. Arsenault’s resignation, I’ve been asking myself if Council has been playing a lead role in addressing the REAL ISSUE (violence against women). This was of primary impor- ‘ance in the beginning, but as time went on, I think the student body (not just council) lost sight of this, and now it’s melted to : Personal vendetta (in my opinion) against one person, namely Tacey.

(think that everyone involved (not just council) has to take a long hard look at their ‘‘leadership’’ and assess if they did what Was best. In my opinion, a lot leaves to be desired.
