Dr. Charles Frederick Wuillgohs, the oldest physician in Ohio, still keeps up his practice, although he is 93 years of age. He says that every member of his family for the last 300 years has lived over 100 years, and his grandfather, at the age of 106, cradled wheat for three days in succession.

Sir George Gray, the Australian ex- plorer and administrator, recently cele- brated the eizhty-fourth anniversary of his birth. Fifty-eight years ago he was given up for dead while exploring the west coast of Australia. He lived to be governor of South Australia, of Cape Colony and of New Zealand.

The Duke of Norfolk, whose popu- larity and munificence are household words in Sheffield, was anxious at one time to enter the service of the church,,. but was prevented by the intervention of the pope, who was convinced that an English nobleman of such wealth and influence could be more useful as a lay- man than as a priest.

The Empress Eugenie has always carefully preserved a small piece of her wedding dress and oranges blossom wreath. Her wedding ring, as is the custom in France, is made in two por- tions which close together tightly.
