Be it therefore enacted by the Lieutenant Gov- ernor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

That, from and after the passng ofthis Act, so much ofthe First Section ofthe hereinbefore recited Act, as defines the amount to be paid annually to the person holding the appointment of Harbor and Bal- last Master, under the provisions of the said recited Act, shall be, and the same is hereby repealed; and,

instead ofthc sum therein named, there shall be paid annually, out ot‘the moneys in the Public Treasury, , to the person holdng such appointment, as at01‘esaid,l the sum ot'Seventeeu Pounds and Ten Shillings for. his services. I
