According to findings of the Na- tional Shoe Institute, the cause of aching feet, and the resulting gen- eral fatigue, is wearing shoes that do not support the arch firmly and grin and support the hheel to prevent wobbly ankles.

Foot fatigue is also caused by ‘wearing house shoes or slippers that do not have a wide sturdy heel base, or are not loose enough to accommodate the expansion of the foot that takes place toward the end of a busy day.
