The Minister said in his reply that the figures quoted were not final as they are currently under negotia- tion.

In reply to a question by Mr. R. R. Bell. the Minister of Highways stated that the total over-all cost. excluding land, of the Government garage at Hillsborough Bridge was 3177.700.

At. the same time the Minister replied that the program for the coming year has not been finaliz- ed in answer to a question from Maj. J. A. MacDonald asking if it is the intention of the Govern- ment to pave the road between Cardigan and Dundss this year.
