[N pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this

island made and passed in the. Eleventh year of the reign of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, tntituled “ An Act for levying further on Assessment on allLands in this Colony, and lor the encouragement of Educatton;” and also an Act in amendment of the said Act, intituled “An Act to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment of Land, and the encouragement of Education ;” and also of an Act made and passed in the twenty-fourth year 01 the said reign, intituled, “ An Act to raise funds for the pur- poses 01 Education by imposing an additional Assessment on Land in this Island, and on real Estate in Charlotte- town and Common and Georgetown and Common,” Ido hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under- mentioned Town Lots, Water Lots. Common Lots, Pasture Lots, Islands, Townships, or parts of Townships, in this Island, in arrear tor the non-payment of the several sums due and owing thereon to Her Majesty, under and by vir- tue ol the above-mentioned Acts, viz :——‘

And the owners of the aforesaid Lots, parts of Lots and tracts of Lands so in arrear and proclaimed as aforesaid,are hereby notified that in case the sums charged on them as aforesaid,together with the costs which have been incurred, shall not be paid before the next Easter Term of the Supreme Court, which will commence on Tuesday, the second day of May next, application will be made to the Supreme Court during the said Term for Judgment against the said Lots or tracis of Land respectively.

o'clock noon. at the CoLONtAL BUILDING, in CIIABLUTTETOWN, under and by virtue of a power of sale, contained in a certain In- dcnture of Mortgage, bearing date the sixth day of lt‘ebruary,A.D., 1861, and tuade between Edward Henry of Lot or Township Nutri- ber Twenty-one, 11] Prince Edward Island, Blacksmith, of the one part, and William Battenbury of the same place, Farmer and Miller, of the other part : The LEAsnttotm IN'J‘tztttss'r of the said Edward Henry, in and to ALL that tract, piece or parcel of land and premises, being the southern moiety or half part of a Certain tract of200 acres therein mentioncd,and which said southern moiety is therein described, or bounded as follows, that is to sayz—com- mencing at a stake fixed in the south end ofthc old Saw Mill dam; from thence by a line running west the distance of seventy-eight chains; thence north twelve chains & titty links; thence east to the Saw Mill River; thence following the courses ol the shore ofthe said river south wardly to a stake at or near the turn ol'said river; thence south, crossing said river, until it bears due east from the before mentioned stake, drove in the south end of the mill dam; and from thence west to the stake or place of beginning, containing by esti- mation One Hundred acres be the some more or less—ALSO ALL that other tract, piece or parcel of Land situate on the said Lot or Town- ship Number Twenty-0110. and bounded as follows, that is to say: by a line comtnencing in the most eastern angle of Messrs.
