White Liars written by Peter Shaffer, White

Liars is a one act play which deals with the subject of lying - why people tell white lies and who can get away with it. The story centres around Sophie (played by Jenniffer Godfrey), a woman who is posing as a noble woman and a fortune teller extraordinary visited by two young men, Frank (Rodney St.Pierre) and Tom (Gragson Mannielly). Frank tries to get Sophie to tell a white lie to his “‘friend’’ Tom by lying about his future. We soon find ut Frank is not the only one lying.Play directed by Mary-anne Fitzpatrick and stage managed by Jenniffer Baldwin and Tara Barnable and will be shown at the Duffy amphitheatre November 14, 15, and 16. Directed by stephen Heckbert, this one act play will examine the criminal mind of society, and the pressures faced by those who are forced to help them. Or not.
