The serious illness of Mrs. Mary Johnston, an aged sud esteemed resident of Peters Road, is much regretted by her many relatives and friends in this vicinity. Her daughters, Mrs. Lillian McFsdyen, Mrs. Ida Merrill and Mrs. McMil- lan who were located in different centres of the Eastern States on being informed of their mother's illness, speedily prepared for the trip homewsrd. In order to make connection with the Charlottetown- Murray River train, they came by ‘plane from Moncton, but were de- tained in the City ovcmigbt, owing to the train being smiled by snow drifts. We are pleased to report that Mrs. Johnston. although weak is holding up well against the dis- ease.
