Crop insurance on grain has been limited to growers who plant more than 10 acres. Agri- culture Minister Andrew Mac- Rae said yesterday.

Pointing out that the cost oil insuring grain works out to 50% cents per acre for a Ernwern Mr. MacRae said it would hard-i ly be worthwhile to insure less, than 10 acres,

The insurance scheme will, provide payment for $20 per; acre for growers who suffer; crop losses. 1

Potato crop insurance costsi $5.06 per acre and pays $158.05i per acre for total cron loss. ‘
