Lonpon, October 18th.—A despatch received by the Standard, from the South African correspondent, telegraphed on Monday night from Dundee, a town in Natal about thirty miles from Newcastle which was seized by the Boers a few days ago, says :—The Boers have brought new artillery from Newcastle and are destroying the railway at Ingogo in order to prevent the approach of the English armored train.
