Good Time at Darlington.

The res‘dence of John T McLeod, Esq., Darlington, was on February 15tb, the scene of one cf the most pleasant entertain- ments that hasever taken place in this vicinity. Mr. McLeod, whois one of the most highly esteemed residents of that place, has lately sold his farm and intends leaving this section of the country and making bis future home at Tignish where he will enter into partnership with his brother, L. H. McLecd, of that place.

In view of this fact a large number of the gentlemen of the eurrouading country, supported by their wivesor some other frieud of equal importance, assembled at Mr. McLeod’s residence to show their great respect for Mr. and Mrs. McLeod aud family and avail themselves of the pleasure of spending another evening in his company before he ceases to be a member of our community,
