1' BUSineSS Society Dinner

The U.P.E.I. Business Society, in conjunction with the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, is. holdings its Ninth Annual Business Society Dinner, Wednes- day, March 6, 1985, at the Sheraton Prince Edward Hotel and Convention Centre.

A reception will be held at 7:00 pm. with dinner following at 8:00 pm.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles McMillan, Senior Policy Advisor to tfie Prime Ministers of Canada.

Dr. McMillan is a graduate of St. Dunstan’s University, where he was President of the Student Union.

He received his MBA from the University of Alberta and his Ph.D. from Bradford University in England.

Dr. McMillan has been Professor of Management at York University and is an internationally recognized author on Japanese Management.

Tickets are $25.00 for business persons and $12.00 for students. Tickets can be obtained from the Business Society at 892-4121, Ext. 373, or from the Charlottetown Chamber of Commence by calling 892-3424.

The dinner is‘a great opportunity for students to get out and mingle with the local business community.

Degree applications

All students, full-time and part-time, who expect to graduate in May, 1985, are reminded that they must make application for a certificate, diploma, or degree.

Application forms are available at the Registrar’s Office and must be completed by Friday, 15 March. The graduation fee must be paid by Tuesday, 16 April, as follows:

Tax deduction forms

Certificate or Diploma Degree

The Education Deduction forms (T2202A), which allow full-time students a deduction of $50 per month for the 1984 tax return, are available in the Registrar’s Office, Kelley Building.

' Tuition receipt forms are also available in the Business Office for all full-time and part-time students. Please pick up the above forms as soon as possible.
