BIRDATHON "84

The annual Francis Bain Birdathon was held May 26, 1984. and windy, but not windy enough to keep dbwn the black flies!

The day was bright This year most

of the counters participating ended up spending much of their time in Kings County, particularly in the Valleyfield area and east of Souris. Once again,

the crew which visited the Townshend woodlot and environs came back with the best results. As has become a tradition, the day ended with a delicious pot luck

supper, hosted by Geoff Hogan (thanks, Geoff).
