As the result of a heart attack wlnich occurred about a. week ago. Rev. Thomas W. Goodwill died in the Prince Edward Island Hospi- tal yesterday at the age of '16. Moumed by the members of his congregations ln Canoe Cove, Clyde River, Churchill and Nine Mlle Creek. and by his manv Island friends. Rev. Mr. Goodwill was known as a faithful preacher and well-beloved friend.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1872. al Espiritn Santa in the SouthSea Islands. one of three sons of the Prince Edward Island Presbyter- ian Church Missionaries Rev John Goodwill and his wife, Eu- phcmla J. Cooper. and was the last. white child to be bwotscd by l {he famous missionary Dr. John Geddle, also from P.E.l.

At the age of 13 years he came ‘i Charlottetown. and entered V1.55 Kent School. thence through Prince oi Wales College to Queens vihcve he graduated in Arts in i898 and in theology '.n Y 1.002.
