It’s Taken 100 Years To Bring This Series

In the century since the first Confed— eration Conference was held in Charlotte- town in I864. there never before has been such a glimpsing back into that era as is afforded by the distinguished series of illustrated articles to be presented in The Evening Patriot starting Tuesday.

It is the first series ever to present pictures of all the Fathers of Confeder- ation who took part in the Charlottetown and Quebec Conferences — to provide personal details about each of them—to tell the part they took. man by man. in the shaping of what Canada has become.

Hundreds upon hundreds of hours of research and preparation went into the creation of this series. The pictures are suberb. the work of Mrs. Irma Coucill and based upon rare sketches which were only recently unearthed. with each one ranking almost as a collector's item.
