DUTIES:

To assist in the performance of all phases of carpentry and cabinet-making in an Industrial Production Shop.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum. of Grade 10 education: technical school training desirable; minimum of four years practical experience in furniture and cabinet. making, including apprenticeship period; exper- ience in supervisory capacity desirable. A. good cabinet-making operations. Preference will be ~ given to cabinet maker with good knowledge of fine furniture finishing. A good working know- ledge of the care, safe and efficient use, running repair and maintenance of all furniture and cab-— inet making shop machinery and equipment. A - knowledge of various kinds of conditions of wood and their characteristies. Knowledge of blueprint reading, estimating desirable. ;

SALARY: $4350. to $4800. per annum.
