Canadian National Express agents in annual conference in Charlotte- town yesterday heard reports of the activities of i936 and discussed plans for improving the service for 1937. P. by Guardian's Special Wire) JERUSALEM, Feb. 9 — Palestine Arabs announced plans tonight to send their own delegation to Lon- don to contest the findings of the Royal Commission which investig- ated Jewish_Arob disorders here. Arab leaders asserted they ex- pected the Commission to favor the Jews in its report on last year's general strike and resultant riot- ing in protest against Jewish im- migration. The Arab Higher Committee, which sponsored the six months strike, announced a conference would be held soon to name the London delegation. This group Arab leaders said, would urge quick application of any pro-Arab find- ings of the Royal Commission, which recently closed three months of hearings and returned to Eng_ land. With Arabs generally expressing dimatisiaction with the Royal Com- missions investigation. scattered disorders continued throughout Po- lestine, less extensive than those during the six months‘ strife last year but causing feurs of a new outbreak. Arabs attacked Jews near Sam- aria and 30 shots were exchanged. while a shot from a band of Arabs wounded a Jew near Hadero. Witnesses for the Jews and Ar- abs disagreed on virtually every point during the hearings by the Commission, which was headed by Lord Peel. ‘

The Arab case reduced itself to one principal point. as stated by Auni Bey Abdul Hill“, a member of the Higher Committee: “This is our country, and the Jews urctry- ing to take lt away from us."

Dr. Chaim Weizmann, head of the Zionist organization. and other Jewish spokesmen denied the charge. They held that Palestine. from both religious and historical standpoints, was the home of the Jews. but declared they wanted only to settle Jews here in accord- once with the “economic absorpt- ive capacity" oi the country.
