Welcome to the women’s page. The majority of the student population according to the registrar’s office is women. The break down is 55% of full-time students and 69% of part-time students are women and as such are a distinct group. In the past, various societies and groups have published in the university paper. The time has come for the largest group on campus to have a column specifically mandated to address women’s issues. This page is dedicated to providing information and exposure to women’s issues, services, programs and current or upcoming events.

Submissions of stories, ideas or events related to women are invited in order to establish a base of information to draw from for weekly publication. Submissions must meet with the submission policy printed in the front of this publication and must include the author’s name and phone number. However, if you don’t want your name printed, it must be clearly indicated.
