Summer Employment:

The National Capital Commission in Ottawa is looking for Summer Students to fill various bilingual posi- tions for the summer. Positions are Site Interpreter, Information and Orientation Counsellors, and Supervisors. Fora complete description on these positions and an application come to the Career Centre. Broland in Thunder Bay, Ontario is looking for students to be Tree Planters for the summer. Application forms are available at the Career Centre. Deadline to apply is April 1, 1996.

Project D.A.R.E. is looking for Summer Waterfront Instructors and Summer Instructors for their summer camps in Ontario. Applicants must have camping experience and various certifications. For more information come in to the Career Centre.

The Federal Government is now accepting application forms for all summer positions for students. In order to work for the government next sum- mer you must fill out an application form. The National Research Council of Canada is currently seeking summer students for 1996. Applicants must be full-time students who are intending to return to full-time studies in the fall of 1996. Applicants must have at least a B+ average. Students will be chosen from a variety of fields. Interested applicants should pick up an application booklet at the Career Centre. The Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada in Quebec is look- ing for summer students in science and engineering who are graduating in 1997 or 1998. Jobs will be a benefit to those who plan to pursue a career in research.
