Air Gonference ls Concluded

A two-day conference of the Maritime Aviation Association concluded here yesterday. Mr. Or- ville B. Pulslfet- at‘ Halifax was re-eleeted president and Mr. James Sturgeon of Fredericton. N.B., was re-elected vice-president. Mr. DB. Moncton, formerly secretary of the organization was made secretary-treasurer. Mr." Paul Sharp, the former treasurer, had his job merged with that of the secretary.

A semi-annual meeting will be held at Batliurst, N.B.. in mid- Oetober. it was decided.

The meeting adopted a resolu- tion urging strongly that the De- partment of Transport reconsider its decision and not Impose in. creased charges on commercial flying schools and flying clubs for the use of hangars and airports, A new rate, effective Alpri! 1, would llwrrflse hangar and use of flying field charges by fifty per cent, members of the organization said.
