Charlie was unmoved by the roar of approval. It had been a long. hard day for him too.
But then. snowbusiness is par- ticularly hard on a bear.
This black Alaska bear, pounds of passive brawn. been reared in the atmosphere of stage lights. bustling techni- ‘ and applauding crowds. And here. on location. his ef- forts were but one part of a TV series for children that is being siiot at this combined indoor- outdoor film site. 20 miles northwest, of Toronto.
