Drain 2 c. sauerkraut.

Melt 1 IA tbsp. butter in a frying pan; in it saute 8 tbsp. each on- ion and green pepper; add the sauerkraut and spoon into the squash shells. Top each with Va tbsp. grated cheese.

Place in a baking pan. Pour in water Vs" deep. Bake lhour in a moderate oven. 350 deg. F. or until the squash shells are fork-tender.
