Students who are " neither Canadian Citizens nor Landed Immigrants \ should ensure that they are so registered under the University Plan and that they have paid the premium applicable to their status. Non— Canadians are not covered by the Provincial Plan and/any illness could be VERY expensive if they are not fully insured. Canadian students and Landed Immigrants should also make sure that they, are covered by their own Provincial Plan as they remain the responsibility 0f their own Province , While enjoying Student statTis. 'PRESCRIPTION DRUG CLAIMS
Under the new University Plan it is the student's responsibility, when a drug prescription is re-
, ceived fram a doctor, to
personally attend at the pharmacy, or if the pre- scription is delivered, to pay the pharmacy directly.
The student is then to ‘ fill out a claim form and the student sends it to the University Insurance Co., with the bill, and the student is reimbursed by the insurance ccmpany with the full amount
less $1.00.
Students“ who have alternate coverage may apply for a rebate up ta 30th September CNIX.

MESSAGE FOR STUDENT NEWSPAPER
Welccme to 1980-81 at UPEI, and a special welcome to all of you who are here for the first time. ‘
Those of you who are returning will find a number of changes. For example, you will find a beautifully renovated Memorial Hall, which now houses Education, Mathematics, and Psychology. You will find a new Cafeteria open to serve you all day and provide a pleasant setting for staff and students to meet informally. You will find changes in The Barn and Student Union activities designed to enhance university life. You will find a number of changes in the Residences as a result of the study on residence life last year.
As you knw, we do not have intercollegiate football this Fall, but there will be soccer and and field hockey, and later on there will be We also hope to start a women's intercollegiate volleyball program. I hope to see you out supporting your teams. v
You will find all of the staff at this university ready and willing to help, and ready to listen to whatever suggestions you have to improve things. Mind you, it sometimes takes longer than you think it should to make some things happen!
Above all, take advantage of being at a small institution. 'Ihere are many unique opportunities, because, here, what you do makes a difference.
