Road District, No. 8, Prince County. ROAD COMPENSTION ACT. PUBLIC NOTICE.
IIEREAS. a commission has been issued, directed to us, under and by virtue of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled, “An Act to regulate the lay- ing out and altering of Highways, and of the Acts in amendment thereof.” whereby we are connnanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the land thrOugh which a certain new road is intended to be made, commencing at the South-west Road, Lot 26. at the. line dividing farms OWned by Mr. John McKever and John Smith, running North until it meets land owned by Nicholas J. Brown, Esq., thence to his mills. Now, we do hereby give Public Notice to all parties that we will commence the exeCution of' the said Commission by attending at Brown’s Vale Mills, Lot 26, on the twenty-eighth day of April next, at the hour of ten o’clock, in the forenoon of the same day, and from thence we will proceed along the said new line of road, and complete the inquest according to law. BY virtue of a writ of Statute Execution, to me di- rected, issued out of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court ofJudieature. at the suit of Sydney Tudor Evans and Amelia Evans, against Garrett Russell, I have taken and seized. as the preperty of the said Garrett Russell. all the Right, Title and Leasehold Interest of the said Garrett Russell, in and to Seventy acres of Land, situate on Township thirty-three, in Queen’s County, in the said Island, bounded as follows: commencing on the west side of the Union Road, in the nerth-east angle of land in the occupation of Ronald Matthewson,and running thence, by the Magnetic Meridian of the year 1764, west, to the rear line of farms fronting on the Brackley Point Road, thence northerly along the said rear line fourteen chains and sixty-two links, thence east to the Union Road aforesaid, and thence southerly along the same fourteen chains and sixty-two links to the place of commencement; and I do hereby give Public Notice, that I will, on Tuesday. the Twenty- ninth day of September nexc, 1868. at 12 o’clock, noon, at the Court House, in Charlottetown, in the said County. set up and sell, at Public Auction. the said pro- perry, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy mark- ed on the said writ. being £49 93. 6d.
