A very successlul Women's In- stitute meeting was hcdid at the' home of Mrs. J. Sutherland Wright of Middleton, when Mrs. Wright en- tertained the Women's Institute oi Middleton on Friday evening, May 5th. The meeting opened with the singing oi’ "O Canada," followed by the Institute Creed in unison. The roll call was responded to by fifteen members, each giving a hint on the garden of poultry. A very quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized in the St. James Church, Summerslde, on Wednesday morning. May 27th, when Miss Margaret Lillian McEntee. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McEmtee, of Emerald, became the bride oi Mr. and Mrs. Percy Augustus Murphy, son of the late Mr. and ‘Mrs. Ber- nard Murphy, of Erucruld. The funeral of the late Mrs. Min- or Bridges was held in the Cas- cumpec United Church on Tuesday. the 9th lhst., and was very largely attended.
