The topic of egg-grading station: has been discussed and infor- mation regarding the average number of cases per station was obtained by one of our men. The statistics show that:

28 stations received under 20 cases a week.

22 stations received from 20-49 cases a week.

5 stations received from 50-74 cases a week.

4 stations received from 75-99 cases a week. 3 stations cases a week. These figures show an average over-all of 35 cases per week. A committee member suggested that the quality of eggs would be im- proved if we had a station at the following districts: Alberton. 0‘- Leary. Summerside. Kensington. Bedeque. Hunter River or New Glasgow. Charlottetown. Vernon Bride. Montague. Murray Har- bour or Murray River. St. Peter's or Morell. Souris. and Crapaud. Steps are being taken by the Provincial Department of Agricul- ture to add a clause to the Poul- try Products Act ataiing that be- fore a new station can be open- ed. the operaior must satisfy both the Provincial and Dominion De- partments that he will have a potential average of 25 cases of eggs per week.
