It is for this reason that nutrition experts point out that breakfast is the most important meal of the day frcm the stand- point of health. Yet a great many industrial and office workers make breakfast their least important meal of the day as they hurry away to work. As a matter of fact. 110T- less than one-fourth of the day's food intake would be eaten at breakfast time by industrial work- ers. and about one-fifth b-y office workers. ~
We should remember that most of us eat nothing between cur evening meal at 6 or '7 p. m. and our morning meal at '1 or 8 a. m. There are from 12 io l4 hours when no food is eaten. and so all work of digestion has been fin- ished for perhapsysevcral hours- Thus. when we eat our breakfast.
