The death oi Mrs. Benjamin Balcierston, which occurred recent- ly in Montreal where she had been visiting her daughter, marks the passing ot a very estimable lady who had spent man)’ yea!“ Ill Charlottetown. She was a daughter of the late Rev. George O. Huestis an honored minister of the Methodist Conference of N. B. and P. E. island who was station- ed on the Cornwall Circuit in this Province some forty years ago.

Mrs. Balderston was a well edu- cated and accomplished lady- who always took a deep and active in- terest in the work of the Methodist Church. As a charter member oi the Woman's Missionary 30¢!" ety,a teacher in the Sunday School and a member oi the Dorcas Society oi the church, her faithful and earnest work was very much appreciated as it was alwaﬂ rendered in the sweet and Chris- tian spirit which characterized her WIIOIQ lite.
