A total of 83 parties have been assigned for field work that will institute surveys in all lo Prov- inces. the Mines Department an- nounced today.

The biggest offort will be made in B.C.. where 13 parties have been assigned. Another 12 will worir in the Northwest Territories, six in the Yukon, 10 in Albcrta and eight in Ontario. Opening Night Of Carnival For Flood Relief

The opening night's gate of the annual carnival of the Charlotte- town Kinsmen Club will go to the National Kinsmen Manitoba Flood Relief Fund, it was voted at the regulhr bi-monthly meeting of the club held at the Charlottetown Hotcl last night. The donation. it is understood, will at least amount to one hundred dollars.
