Mr. A. R. Toombs, Chairman of the Credit Comm, reported that all applications for loans had been approved, and that payments of bot-h Principal and Interest had been made promptly".

WITH THE C.A.S.F. SOME- WHERE IN ENGLAND. Nov. 5- <(‘I>1 -» A casualty clearing station of the Royal Canadian Army MGGF, rnl Corps, rccmited iu Western Canada and lncludintz eight- mirr- lim sisters from Edmonton and Ca1- gary, is established in the Canad- uzllnn- Brilish Corps area.

This casualty" clearing station in the actual defence lines now cares for on average of B0 patients at n time. treating them for shrapnel n1- other wounds sutffered in bomb- lnzs, accidents or general ailments.

The station is completely equipp- ed for field service and could ac- commodnle 200 patients at once lfl the Canadians were ln action and casualties started to run high.

During the past nine months our Credit Union as made steady pro- grass. They have had an increase in membership, and our finances are in excellent condition.

To each member I would say: This Ls your organization, help to make it the best ever. Ict us learn to help the other fellow, for by so doing we help ourselves.
